DALLAS – June 15, 2021 – The Dallas Foundation, the first community foundation in Texas, is proud to announce the appointment of Torrey Littleton to the role of Vice President of Finance, effective June 1. Littleton previously served nine years at the Foundation in the roles of Senior Director of Finance and Controller, during which he fostered deep relationships with many of the organization’s donors and community partners. He brings an unparalleled knowledge of fund management to his new role.
As Vice President of Finance at The Dallas Foundation, Littleton will lead a team of five, and serves as a key thought partner and member of the senior management team. He will oversee the strategic management of the organization’s financial resources and investment returns, assure compliance with all audit and tax requirements, and maintain the Foundation’s long-term fiscal health.

Along with his work at The Dallas Foundation, Littleton has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and finance across several industries, including: healthcare, chemical engineering and manufacturing. He chose a career path in the nonprofit sector because of the opportunity it offered to impact the quality of life across the community. Littleton earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting at Tennessee State University, an HBCU, and his graduate degree, an MBA in Multi-Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Management, at The University of Dallas.
