Maria Siharath

Maria graduated from the University of North Texas at Dallas with a BBA in Accounting. She has worked in the accounting field for over 20 years starting as an AP clerk to her current role as a Senior Accountant. She has been in the non-profit sector for six years, and after seeing how nonprofits impact the lives of others, she is fully dedicated to continuing this work. She believes people have an innate need to be part of a community and working with nonprofit organizations is one small way to give back.

Outside of work, one of Maria’s interests is wood working – she likes the idea of creating something with her own hands. She has also recently developed a passion for cooking, especially Asian dishes, and enjoys weekend road trips to explore new sites.
