Derek serves as the Vice President of Marketing at The Dallas Foundation, where he leads strategic marketing efforts to elevate the Foundation’s brand and connect with the community. He brings to the Foundation years of marketing and communications experience in both the public and private sector.
His track record of developing data-driven strategies that enhance brand awareness, boost engagement, and drive measurable results is evident from his time in key marketing roles at organizations such as Argon Medical Devices, UWorld, Hilltop Holdings, and AMN Healthcare. Throughout his career, he has consistently delivered innovative marketing solutions that achieve business objectives and foster meaningful connections with audiences.
A fourth-generation Dallasite and a graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, Derek holds a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He lives in Dallas with his wife and daughter.
