The Dallas Foundation was thrilled to host fundholders and community partners for an engaging discussion with Dr. Jack Shonkoff on the future of early childhood development.
Dr. Shonkoff shared insights from Harvard’s new ECD 2.0 Initiative, which leverages cutting-edge science to reshape policies and programs for greater impact on early childhood development. By focusing on the biology of adversity, adaptation, and resilience, ECD 2.0 aims to drive stronger outcomes for young children and their caregivers.
This conversation underscored the importance of applying the latest research to ensure all children have the foundation they need to thrive. Through initiatives like Community Matters, The Dallas Foundation continues to bring key stakeholders together to advance solutions that strengthen families and improve early learning experiences.
We’re grateful to Dr. Shonkoff and our partners for their dedication to shaping a brighter future for children in Dallas and beyond.
