Dawn joined The Dallas Foundation in 2015, originally leading the organization’s marketing & communication efforts. She recently transitioned to her new role as vice president of programming, where she will focus on directing the Foundation’s events and engagement initiatives, supporting special projects related to the Foundation’s Centennial, and collaborating across departments to create impactful and inspiring experiences. She will also oversee the storytelling efforts that celebrate the work of nonprofit partners, the generosity of donors, and the Foundation’s impact on the community and its stakeholders.
Dawn earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in communications from Loyola University New Orleans and subsequently has spent much of her 25+ year career in the nonprofit sector, including roles in higher education, social services and philanthropy. Dawn, her husband, two daughters and several pets reside in Rockwall.
